The winery is located in a historic building, which was once a dairy barn. The barn was converted to a secret army location during World War II. It is currently being restored as an educational winery. The building itself is almost 100 years old and has undergone many transformations. In 1942, it was part of a military base, which used the building as a signals training school and deciphered messages sent from Japan.

Visitors can take a tour of the building and learn about the history of the area. The cellar is home to WWII and Cold War memorabilia. The walls are covered with WWII photos and German military uniforms. The building also features an observation level where visitors can view the wine-making process. The beams used to support the barn are still there and can be seen on the observation level. Interested in Warrenton?
