Foster City is located within the Virginia Interstates and Routes. I-66 runs southeast-northwest from Washington, D.C. to Richmond, Virginia. I-66 runs southwest-northwest from Richmond to Charlottesville, Virginia. If you are traveling from west of Washington, D.C., you can take I-95 to I-95 North. If you are traveling from east of Washington, D.C., you can take I-95 South to I-66. I-66 runs west-east, connecting Washington to Los Angeles.
